Yoga for the winter term

This week we begin our 10 week winter Yoga term.

We start with Balance, which will require focus and concentration and engaging the core and the limbs, all that and breathing too!

Initially we work on one pose, then another, then a sequence of five poses.  A second pose will lead us into another short sequence.  Slowly we can build up our practice, poses and sequences coming together, then mix and match to gain a longer sequence.

This way we will train the mind to remember the sequences, the breath to breathe the poses and the body to express itself and find comfort in the poses.
