Beginners Mind

It was a refreshing experience to once again be part of our Yoga discussion Group; to come together with a group of like-minded Yogi’s to discus and query the ‘bigger picture’ of Yoga.

Perhaps a timely reminder that we are encouraged to come into every yoga practice with “Beginners Mind”.  We are very good at coming onto our mat for a physical practice to flex the body, but equally important is a theoretical practice to flex the mind.  When we are open to our own questions, (and patient with the questions from others); the more likely we are to grow and expand.  While we may apply this firstly to extend our Yoga knowledge we soon know that our Yoga knowledge seeps into everyday life to help us understand and learn our life lessons.

Keep your beginners mind open………….and enjoy your lessons.
